Touchdown Club of Southern New Jersey salutes 2022 captains
The Dr. Warren J. McClain Touchdown Club of Southern New Jersey held its annual Captains Night banquet the night of September 13, 2022 at Adelphia Restaurant in Deptford.
Captains from 24 South Jersey high school football programs joined the club for dinner and a celebration of leadership on and off the field.
Tom Pajic of Jersey Gridiron Scout sponsored the banquet. He gave a speech to the attendees before the night’s special guest speaker.
That speaker was Super Bowl champion Barrett Brooks. Brooks played in the National Football League from 1995 to 2005. Brooks, now a TV personality on NBC Sports Philadelphia, spoke about the importance of being a team leader and his experiences with his team captains. That included the likes of Jerome Bettis, Randall Cunningham, Brett Favre and Barry Sanders.
The Touchdown Club thanks all who participated!
