Touchdown Club of Southern New Jersey honors its 2025 All-South Jersey Teams
The Dr. Warren J. McClain Touchdown Club of Southern New Jersey held its 58th annual All-South Jersey banquet the night of December 8, 2025 at Adelphia Restaurant in Deptford.
First-team honorees were selected by the club for the Large Schools (Groups 3, 4, 5 and Non-Publics in the West Jersey League American, Continental and Constitution Divisions) and Small Schools (Groups 1, 2, and the remaining Non-Publics).
Selections were honored by the club for dinner and a celebration of their achievements in the 2025 season.
Honorees received plaques and trophies were given to Glassboro (Group 1), Camden (Group 2), Cedar Creek (Group 3), Winslow Township (Group 4) and Washington Township (Group 5) to commemorate state championship wins.
The West Jersey Football Coaches Association awarded four $1,000 scholarships to first-team selections that were seniors who excelled in the classroom. Those recipients were: Talib Shakir of Camden, Patrick Degnan of Seneca, Michael Bartasius of Shawnee and Stephen Davidson of Washington Township.
The WJFCA also gave a $1,000 scholarship to the club’s Unsung Hero of the year, Xavier Gandia of Cherry Hill High School West.
Rowan University named Giaini Derameaux, a defensive lineman from Burlington Township, as its Player of the Year.
For his work with the Paulsboro, Woodbury and Ocean City communities in youth and high school football, the late Francis Simpson was named recipient of the Herb Neilio Service Award.
