Touchdown Club of Southern New Jersey honors its 2022 All-South Jersey Team

The Dr. Warren J. McClain Touchdown Club of Southern New Jersey held its annual All-South Jersey banquet the night of December 15, 2022 at Adelphia Restaurant in Deptford.

 First-team honorees were selected by the club for the Large Schools (Groups 3, 4, 5 and Non-Publics in the West Jersey League American, Continental and Independence Divisions) and Small Schools (Groups 1, 2, and the remaining Non-Publics).

Selections were honored by the club for dinner and a celebration their achievements in the 2022 season.

Honorees received plaques and trophies were given to Millville (Group 4) and Woodbury (Group 1) to commemorate state championship wins.

The West Jersey Football Coaches Association awarded four $1,000 scholarships to first-team selections that were seniors who excelled in the classroom. Those recipients were: Brady Clark of West Deptford, Max DiRaddo of Washington Township, Bryan Johnson of Woodbury and Gavin Roman of Holy Spirit.  

The WJFCA also gave a $1,000 scholarship to the club’s Unsung Hero of the year, John Plumley of Haddon Heights.
